Growing up, we moved around a lot. My Dad was an Air Force pilot, and his job took us all over the country and even to Australia. While it was exciting to see new places, in 1991 we moved to Satellite Beach, Fl and decided that it was a place I planned to stay a while and grow some roots. I attended the University of Central Florida earning my degree in accounting. It was there where I learned I had a passion for math and numbers and began working for a company in product development. While this doesn’t sound like a role with numbers, I worked to capture, analyze and interpret consumer and market data which helped to identify products that could be developed or enhanced that would drive revenue. Then the focus was on how much it would cost to create, market and distribute these products. If the numbers made sense, then the project was greenlit. If not, it went in the waste bin. While it may not sound fun, I actually truly enjoyed it. But I always felt I was missing something.
While in Orlando, I was fortunate to meet my wife Stephanie and fell immediately in love with her. We have two amazing Girls, Alyssa and Ella and feel they are my greatest achievement. When Stephanie and I bought our first house we were blessed with the worlds greatest REALTORS®, Chuck and Cyndi Valence. Watching how they ran their business with such dedication to their clients and craft was incredible. Having never bought a house before, they talked us through every step and made us feel as though we were their only clients. We went on to work with them on several other transactions and they never failed to deliver high quality service and results, but it was how they made us feel that we enjoyed the most. It was because of them that I started to look seriously into real estate as a career. I wanted to do something that allowed me to connect with people on a deeper level while utilizing the skills I had acquired professionally to help them navigate through the challenges that arise in the buying and selling of real estate. For some, they may only do it once in a lifetime so to have the opportunity to be a part of that seemed so fulfilling. I can say this is the most fulfilling job I have ever had. I get the opportunity to help people every day.
Whether you are selling, buying or just curious about anything real estate, I would love to help in anyway I can.
